Can I watch TV and play video games all the time?

God gave you life for a reason. The reason is not just to pay bills and eat, nor to just watch TV and play video games (although some of that is OK). The wisest man who ever lived, Solomon, said we should set aside a time for everything important, and everything in its proper time. A time for work, and a time for play…and he meant video games.   But, play isn’t your priority.

Acknowledge God has plans for you, and tasks for you to do for Him…even today! Acknowledge you are His servant and you are to be fruitful and multiply…which by the way, means a lot more than having kids.  It means to grow things, to build things, to improve your surroundings, to improve life for other people He loves, to enhance the world around you.  It means to enhance Jesus’ Kingdom and the lives of those Jesus died on the cross for.

So, get off the couch and glorify God!  Acknowledge Him, and do so by doing something for Him. Work well, serve well, give well. Give of your time is a good suggestion…call your local church and just simply ask “what can I do to help someone?” That, my friend, will change your life…for the better if you do so to help someone and glorify God. I guarantee it.
