How To Work In A Harsh Environment

Do you often say: My work is difficult, and the environment is rarely pleasant?

That harsh environment may be due to:
-The company’s policies or decisions you don’t agree with.
-Your boss is hard to work for on many levels.
-Your co-workers or customers are harsh and unpleasant.
-The equipment or tools you have to use are old and antiquated, or not the best for the job, and you’re expected to produce more with them.

Most of us have dark adjectives to describe those aspects of our work environment and that can make going to work a challenge at best.  We Christians then struggle with accepting these challenges, often questioning God or even think of quitting or looking for something else. We pray that God would change the environment or move us to a better job.

But what if our perspective was wrong. Could we even fathom that God has us in our job in that environment on purpose? Is it possible what needs to change isn’t the company, co-workers, customers, or tools, but us?!   If you want your situation to improve, in a way God approves, we have two podcasts you need to listen to.
